Overview
Throughout Scripture, we see that evil did not end at the cross but continues until Christ's return. Believers are called to recognize evil's persistence, resist temptation, and trust in God's ultimate victory over sin and Satan.
Key Scriptures
"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8, ESV).
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12, ESV).
"Jesus answered, 'My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world'" (John 18:36, ESV).
Application
Put on the full armor of God daily through prayer, Scripture study, and obedience, knowing that Christ has already won the ultimate victory and will return to establish His kingdom forever.
