En-Hakkore

En-Hakkore (meaning 'Spring of the Caller') is the miraculous spring that God provided to Samson after his great victory over the Philistines, symbolizing God's faithfulness to sustain His people.

Overview

After Samson killed 1,000 Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, he became extremely thirsty and cried out to the Lord in desperation. God miraculously opened up a spring from a hollow place in Lehi, providing water for Samson to drink and recover his strength. This act of divine provision demonstrated God's care for His judge even in moments of physical exhaustion and need.

Key Scriptures

"Then Samson called out to the Lord and said, 'O Lord God, please remember me and please strengthen me only this once, O God, that I may be avenged on the Philistines for my two eyes.'" (Judges 15:15, ESV)

"And God split open the hollow place that is at Lehi, and water came out from it. And when he drank, his spirit returned, and he revived." (Judges 15:19, ESV)

Application

When you cry out to God in your weakness and exhaustion, trust that He hears and will provide the strength and resources you need to continue serving Him faithfully.
