En-Haddah

En-Haddah was a city in the tribal territory of Issachar, mentioned in Joshua's allotment of the Promised Land. It represents God's faithful distribution of inheritance to His people.

Overview

En-Haddah was a fortified city assigned to the tribe of Issachar during Joshua's division of Canaan (Joshua 19:21). Though little is known about this settlement, its inclusion in Scripture demonstrates God's meticulous care in apportioning the Promised Land to each tribe according to His sovereign plan.

Key Scriptures

"The third lot came up for the tribe of Issachar... And their territory included: Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem, Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath, Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez, Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth Pazzez" (Joshua 19:17-21, NIV).

"The Lord said to Joshua, 'You are now old and well advanced in years, and there are still very large areas of land to be taken over'" (Joshua 13:1, NIV).

Application

Trust that God has already apportioned specific purposes and blessings for your life, just as He precisely divided the land among the tribes of Israel.
